Dr. Kyle Maddox is a graduate of the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduating, he completed a rotating internship at Virginia Tech to further enhance his clinical skill set, and has since worked for various private practice and nonprofit animal welfare organizations across the country (including the Florida Keys, New Orleans, and Charleston). Dr. Maddox’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, internal medicine, and of course puppy/kitten visits! Outside of work, Dr. Maddox enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking/running and kayaking, playing tennis, practicing yoga, attending art walks, reading, writing, and getting involved in various philanthropic organizations. You can often find him trying new restaurants with his amazing partner or backpacking his adorable little Pomeranian Jax around Charleston. He loves meeting owners and his philosophy is to always treat every patient as if they were his own pet.
