Veterinary Technician

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Take patient histories
• Assist with appointments
• Enter medical records and charges
• Perform laboratory tests
• Fill prescriptions
• Explain follow up and home care instructions to clients
• Stay calm and efficient during a crisis
• Be well-spoken and able to approach job duties in a mature manner
• Work as a team will all members of the hospital staff

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, friendly, motivated team player with experience working in the veterinary hospital setting as an advanced assistant or technician (licensed or not) and someone who is eager to learn. 

Outstanding customer service skills and exceptional communication skills are required, as our technical staff is a key member of our client service team. Our clients choose our hospital because of the relationship and trust built between our team members, clients, and their pets.

The schedules are on a 4-week rotation with 12-hour shifts from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm. Your work week will be 3 days on and 4 days off!
